    This place has closed, marking the end of an era for me. I used to frequent the SF location in Union Square, which closed in 2015. I was delighted to discover the Berkeley location. Their prices were reasonable, and the combination beef noodle soup was delicious. The pad kee mao was exceptionally tasty and fragrant, and they would make it extra spicy for me. The last time I was there, the server informed me that they were closing on 3/21/24. I am now on the lookout for a new Thai restaurant that serves this style of Thai cuisine. The store seemed a bit empty over the last year or two, but it's still saddening to see them close.

    As of late, they don't answer the phones. We always ordered ahead by calling but recently they haven't been answering. Last time we came, we ordered inside and my partner, who was waiting for the order, could hear the phone going off. Anyways, I would not suggest using GrubHub to order ahead for pick up. Probably better than calling honestly!

    Always liked this place; still good. But no alcohol on the night I was there, which was a Friday night. Hard to see how they'll stay open without that! Pad Woon Sen still great. Sad to sense this may be the end.
